TSN is an educational network which was founded in 2016 by Dr. Riffat Hassan, Professor Emerita of the University of Louisville, an internationally-renowned scholar of religion, feminist theologian, and social justice activist who has devoted her life to promoting dialogue and peacemaking amongst different – oftentimes conflicting – groups in many countries. The educators who have joined her in TSN come from a variety of backgrounds and professions. They include scholars, writers, artists, and community activists who are committed to breaking down walls and building bridges so that Louisville can become a model justice-and-compassion-centered city which protects and promotes the dignity, safety, equality, and individuality of all who live here.

Appealing to the needs of the African American community in multiple facets with specific focus on education and community service. Change Today, Change Tomorrow provides access to resources, education, and community engagement to all African Americans in the Greater Louisville area.

Our current focus areas include diversity and inclusion, youth development, homelessness, poverty, health equity, mental and physical health, crime, healthy families, LGBTQ+ efforts, local art empowerment, sustainability and community beautification.

The mission of Black Trans Louisville is to foster an accessible familial environment where Black trans and gender expansive folks can experience peace without persecution and easily access assistance to better their quality of life.

KHJN provides direct services through the KHJN Support Fund, a practical support abortion fund. The Support Fund is a staff supported network of volunteers who help people seeking abortion with financial assistance, transportation, interpretation, and more.Our Trans Health Advocacy program works to help Trans Kentuckians access the healthcare they need, as well as reaffirm our autonomy and community. We do this through in person advocacy and support, financial assistance for gender affirming care, connecting folks with online and community resources, as well as advice and assistance navigating insurance. Our program aims to put a greater focus on the intersectional barriers Trans Kentuckians face when accessing healthcare such as structural and interpersonal racism, classism, ableism, and sizeism

La Casita Center enhances the well-being of Louisville's Latinx community through education, empowerment, advocacy, and wellness. La Casita Center works intentionally to build a thriving community based on mutual support and respect.

Fellowship of Reconciliation (FOR) is an interfaith organization committed to active nonviolence as a means of radical social change through education and coalition building. We engage social justice issues through nonviolent action locally, nationally, and globally.

Louisville FOR’s Aim Higher Committee, works to limit military recruiters’ access to students in our public schools. Aim Higher also works to reduce disparities in student achievement and discipline associated with race and income.

Louisville FOR’s online newspaper FORsooth, provides local and national news.

Louisville FOR’s monthly Third Thursday Lunch speaker series provides conversations with local activists.

FORward Radio WFMP Louisville is an independent low-power FM community radio station broadcasting a diversity of progressive, locally-relevant voices at 106.5fm and forwardradio.org.
