Community Ventures: Homeownership Support
Community Ventures is a HUD-certified housing counseling agency and a charter member of NeighborWorks America. Our Homeownership Center enables prospective and current homeowners to achieve their dreams through counseling, education, and affordable lending options. We also have a successful history of building new homes and buying, remodeling, and re-selling homes, making it possible for our clients to purchase like-new homes and enjoy the benefits of safe, affordable homeownership.

Provides fair housing legal support to all Kentucky residents, regardless of whether you are a renter, home-owner, or home-buyer.
Greenhouse 17 Farm
Serving 17 Kentucky counties, provides shelter assistance on a farm in Fayette County.
Hope Center of Lexington (Fayette)
Housing assistance includes emergency shelter, transitional housing, and drug & alcohol-free affordable housing.
Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services
Find resources for assisted living for senior adults, housing for those with disabilities, KY Rise, and independent living services for those who have aged out of the foster care system.
Kentucky Transitional Assistance Program (KTAP)
Federally funded monetary assistance program from the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families block grant.
KY RISE
Assistance for transition aged foster youth moving out on their own for the first time. Tenant's rights, roommate agreement, domestic abuse, and tips for searching for apartments can be found here.
Lexington Office of Affordable Housing
Offers loans and grants from the Affordable Housing Fund to create affordable housing for those households at or below 80% of area median income.
Lexington Rescue Mission
Assists with homeless intervention and transitional housing, financial assistance for the first month’s rent, individual budget counseling, resource referral, and case management.
One Parent Scholar House
Single parent family residential facility for parents 18 years or older who are enrolled in college. Housing is under the section 8 rent subsidy program.
Salvation Army: Central Kentucky
Provides rent and utility assistance in Jessamine, Fayette and Scott counties.
United Way 2-1-1 (Central Kentucky)
211 is a contact center connecting people with available resources like food, housing, health care, child care, and legal aid.

Blue Grass Head Start Program
Child development program serving three and four year old children from low-income households. (Anderson, Franklin, Jessamine, Mercer/Boyle, and Woodford counties)
Child Care Aware-Kentucky
A portal that lists state resources for children with special needs, child support and child care, health care, financial assistance, and utilities assistance.

Federal program to help Kentucky residents dealing with high heating bills.
LFUCG Emergency Financial Assistance (Fayette)
Available to prevent eviction or utility service disconnection at current residence. Eligible assistance include rent, mortgage, and/or utility payments.

Provides rent and utility assistance in Jessamine, Fayette and Scott counties.
