Katie Fraser

Katie Fraser

Katie Fraser has been teaching English at Sullivan University as an adjunct professor for ten years. Her background is different than that of most English teachers. Her undergraduate degree is in history, not English, and she has masters degrees in history and creative writing. Before teaching English at the college level, Katie spent 25 years as a freelance writer, primarily for education and history institutions and museums. Her publications include one non-fiction book, three Kentucky education textbooks, instructional materials and curriculum in use in Kentucky public schools on web and in print, articles in popular journals and scholarly journals, newspaper stories, video scripts, and play scripts. Currently, Katie works with the Museum of the American Printing House for the Blind to educate the public about blindness.

Alex SchulzAlex Schulz

Alex has a bachelor’s in English from Morehead State University and a Master’s in Creative Writing from the University of Memphis. He has been teaching with Sullivan since 2012. When not teaching, Alex likes biking, cooking, and writing stories.
